Because I know that all of you are so incredibly interested in where I’ve been these past two weeks (even if you aren’t, just go with it), I wanted to let all of you into what God has been doing! Earlier this month, I said yes to being an alumni team leader for a World Race Squad on the first three months of their trip!

What does that mean? Well, every world race squad that goes on the field is split into teams of 5 to 8 people. I will be leading one of these teams on a squad during their stay in Japan, Taiwan, and China. After that, I will be returning to the states and new team leaders will be raised up from within this squad for the remaining 8 months of their race.

How awesome is that?! And the best part is, I don’t have to wait until January to meet these incredible individuals. Rather, on the very day I said yes to being a team leader, the Lord provided funds for me to travel to Gainesville, Georgia to meet and train this squad as part of their leadership team. So, for the past two weeks, I have been living in my tent with 14 amazing people who are excited to go into the world and share the love of Jesus with those they encounter.

We walked through healing in forgiveness, identity, and shame, all while learning how to live in community and function not only as teams, but as the Church.

The Lord used these past two weeks to speak to me in new ways, to grow my heart for an entirely new squad, to walk me through what it means to be a leader and a follower, and to continue to walk me through healing. I want to write a blog that specifically goes into some of those things, but for now, I just want to share how incredibly excited I am for this next season. These are the amazing teams that make up this squad:

Team Invictus

Team Wabisabi

Team Wandering Children

Will you please pray for myself and for this amazing group of people?

  • Pray against spiritual warfare that may take place between now and our departure
  • Pray for funds to come in for myself and for the entire squad
  • Pray that we would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and his voice, and that we would be bold in our faith even before ever getting on a plane
  • Pray that while each person would walk out in their unique giftings, that we would be unified as a body
  • Our first stop will be Japan. Pray for the people of Japan and for the Lord to prepare the hearts of each and every person we meet there.

Thank you so much for reading and continuing to follow along with my journey! If you would like to support this upcoming trip financially, feel free to message me until the fundraising platform is set up on my page.

Love Always!
