Hello and Welcome to My Blog!!

My name is Meghan Murray. I am 23 years old and I am a childcare worker and youth ministry intern all while finishing up my last year of school. I was born and raised in Texas by my wonderful and supportive parents and I am the baby in the family with four older brothers. I LOVE working with kids and students. It's my favorite thing. I especially have a passion for empowering youth. I want to encourage young believers that they can begin making a difference here and now rather than having to wait until they reach a certain age. I also have a passion for missions. It's such a great honor that we get to take part in God's mission to reach the world. In addition to that, I am always amazed by how Jesus' love can translate into any language, culture, or people. My passion for missions is one of many reasons why I so excited to take part on the World Race.

I found the World Race about 6 years ago, after I had just graduated high school. Believe it or not, I just found it randomly on Facebook. I think one of my friends shared one of their posts and it just stuck with me. From that time on, the World Race has always been on the back of my mind. I honestly thought that I was going to eventually move on from it by the time I finished college, but God never let me forget about it. I finally felt led to go on the World Race after going through a difficult time in my life. Through this time, God called me to step out in faith and do something I never imagined I would be able to do. I'm hoping that during my time in the World Race, that I will see God move in ways that I never have before in myself, my team, and in the lives of the people we meet. Other than that, I just look forward to seeing what all God has in store for that year.

Please pray for me this year if you feel so led. Pray for finances. Pray for health and safety. Please pray for perseverance in the faith and that the mission will not start at launch in January, but that it will start here and now.

I am so excited to share this journey with you! If you would like to connect, please feel free to comment or send me a message! :)
